Soft and tasty
For 9 madeleines
45g butter
40g sugar
55g flour
2.5g baking powder
14g milk
28g butter
1/2 teaspoon orange flavour
1 egg
1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Melt butter.
Mix dry ingredients.
Beat the egg. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones. Mix well.
Pour the preparation into buttered madeleine baking tin.
In preheated oven at 220C cook the madeleines for 5 minutes. Slow down the oven to 200C and cook the madeleine for 6 more minutes.
Remove the madeleines and let them cool off for 20 minutes.
