Gourmet salad easy to prepare

Goat cheese and walnut salad

For 2 people

  • 200g goat cheese log

  • lettuce

  • 30g walnuts

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • dried mixed herbs

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon mustard

  • 4 slices of sourdough baguette

  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Brush the bread with olive oil on one side and roast in the oven until golden, around 5-10 minutes.

  3. Slice your goat cheese into 4 pieces. Place them on a tray. Spread honey and sprinkle dried herbs on top. Cook for 15 minutes or until golden.

  4. Wash and cut your lettuce. Peel and slice your avocado in pieces.

  1. Chop your walnuts and toast them in a frying pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Check that they are not burning. Remove from the heat when they start to color.

  2. Mix the mustard with the vinegar in a bowl. Add the 3 tablespoons of olive oil, mixing continuously.

  3. Mix your lettuce and avocado with the dressing according to your taste. You can store the remaining dressing in the fridge for a few days.

  4. Put your salad mix on the plate, sprinkle with the walnuts. Place the goat cheese on top of the bread and place the bread on the salad mix. Enjoy!
