Banana jam

Perfect spread for toasts, pancakes, crepes, brioche. Good sweetener of porridge

For 3 jars

  • 900 g banana

  • 600 g sugar

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Peel and cut the banana in small slices

  2. Put banana, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and cinnamon powder in a pan. Mix well

  3. Cook on low heat for 50 minutes

  4. Mix regularly during cooking

  5. Remove the foam at the surface

  6. Let it cool down

  7. Blend to get the consistency you want

  8. Put in jars

  9. Can be kept unopened in dry place for 3 months
